What is FUMY

FUMY =

This is a group of young people 7th through 12th grade who are seeking to grow in their relationships with Jesus Christ and each other. When FUMY meets we strive to provide a comfortable and safe environment where student can honestly and openly ask questions and search for truth in their lives. It is also our goal to be Christ centered in all that we do based on the scriptures. We look forward to getting to know all who attend. See you there.

A Word from the Office

Thought on the Fullness of God:

The Fullness of God brings us to a better understanding of who Jesus is. Who in the sense of just human but who in the sense that He is God. One might ask, “why does this matter?” I think if Jesus were less than the fullness of God Who we are might be a bit silly. This encourages our positions. When we battle false teachings and philosophy it is important to realize this understanding is a truth from scripture. It is a constant of God’s word. Many teachings out there are close enough for us to be comfortable with but none of them I’ve seen allow the truth that Jesus possessed the fullness of God.

In this thought I realized it’s not my need to understand this concept as much as it is my need to have faith and believe this as truth. It is this knowledge that allows many paradox to exist together without confusion. After all He is God.
