Three Ways to Worship
First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro offers an early, modern, and traditional service. Sunday school begins at 9:30am, and we offer a professionally staffed nursery for your family. You will be welcomed the moment you pull into the parking lot. Each Sunday, people from all stages of life in the Murfreesboro area experience God at FUMC. Every service offers a time of worship and a relevant, Bible-centered message from one of our Pastors. We would love to meet you this Sunday. The coffee will be hot!

We would LOVE for you to introduce yourself to our staff or our welcome team – but you never have an obligation to do so! We are here for you whenever you need it – but we won’t put you on the spot!
Whatever you are comfortable in! All of our services will have everything from shorts to suits depending on the person and the weather.
Every service features music, prayer, and a sermon (with communion offered in Modern). Modern Worship has a full worship band and traditional worship features piano, organ, choir, and liturgy.
We have Sunday school classes at 9:30am for kids age 3 through 12th grade! We also have a professionally staffed nursery for children birth to age 3 during Sunday school and our worship services. Kids are welcome in all of our services. We have Kids Activity Bags available to give them some faith-filled activities while they’re in worship.
You will see a friendly volunteer ready to point you in the right direction, and we also have signage to direct you.
We offer these Worship Experiences each Sunday:
8:30am – Early Worship in our Sanctuary
10:30am – Modern Worship in our Family Life Center
10:45am – Traditional Worship in our Sanctuary
